Often muscles can get strained, overworked, and the fascia helps out, tightening the tissues so the muscle can last longer holding weights. But this reduces the blood supply to that muscle, so it doesn’t heal as well. Making it more likely to be overworked and strained, leading to more fascial buildup.
I find this happen with many women, weaker muscles yet working longer, so much to do, the muscle becomes unpleasantly lumpy, much weaker.
Anything that releases fascia, lets the muscles return to their original length, is wonderful, and a big plus is increased blood supply, so the muscle heals better, less pain.
